A writer`s work suffers due to an unhealthy romantic obsession in the Mexican drama ANGEL O DEMONIO. As soon as Gabriel, an aspiring writer, arrives in Mexico City, he meets the beautiful and inscrutable Blanca, whom he quickly falls in love with. They begin a passionate affair, and the relationship inspires Gabriel to write a grand novel. But when Blanca inexplicably stops seeing Gabriel, his pen runs dry, and he searches the city for her.
