LAST FLIGHT OUT: Ann Williams (Bobbie Phillips, SHOWGIRLS) is a missionary doctor working in Alto Risco, a small village deep within the Columbian jungle. As violence in the area escalates and drug runners and guerillas close in upon the village, Ann refuses to leave, knowing that her place is with the innocent civilians who need her help. But Ann`s family back home is growing increasingly worried, and her father (Cliff DeYoung, SUICIDE KINGS) enlists the help of her ex-boyfriend, Dan Hogan (Richard Tyson, BLACK HAWK DOWN), to bring her to safety. A former pilot, Dan has fallen into disgrace and now works in repossession, but he agrees to fly into the jungle, hoping against hope to save the woman he once loved. Guided by a talkative missionary dentist he picks up at a fuel stop (Adriano Gonzalez, HAVANA), Dan`s journey becomes one of danger and redemption. Exposed to the faith of the missionaries, Dan starts to rethink his own disbelief in the face of God`s strength. This evangelical actioner is produced by the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, and in addition to its strong religious message, it boasts fine performances, high production values, and breathtaking location footage shot in Puerto Rico.SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT: Tommy (Darius McCrary) is a troubled young man with a history of crime. When he meets Memaw, an elderly lady, the two form a special bond, with Memaw encouraging Charlie to sing in the local church choir, a talent he has ignored until now. While Charlie excels in church, his old friend G. Smooth remains skeptical and stays on the streets. SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT is a heartwarming film with a lot of spirit and some great singing talent on display. Featuring a cameo by Reverend Billy Graham.ROAD TO REDEMPTION: Amanda Tucker (Julie Condra) gets in trouble with mobsters after a moneymaking scheme goes sour, and she decides to look to the only relative she has: her absentminded grandfather (Pat Hingle). As she and her grandfather tr

Flashing a mouthful of fake gold teeth, Julien (Ewen Bremner) wanders the streets of New York City, mumbling nonsensical syllables to himself. He tries to avoid the abuse of his sadistic drunken gas-mask-wearing father (German director Werner Herzog). He cracks a young boy's head open with a rock. He befriends a blind figure skater. He wears a bra and underwear as he wrestles with his younger brother. And his sister, Pearl (Chloe Sevigny), is pregnant--with Julien's child.Writer-director Harmony Korine succeeds remarkably well in showing the world through Julien's eyes: a schizophrenic kaleidoscope of images--some hauntingly beautiful, some disturbing and violent. The first American film made in accordance with the Danish filmmaking manifesto Dogma 95 (which also includes THE CELEBRATION and MIFUNE), JULIEN DONKEY-BOY uses no cinematic tricks such as artificial lighting or studio sound. Shot on handheld digital video, the film was transferred to 16mm stock before being blown up to 35mm film for the final print. Korine used this unique method to give the film the low-definition, degraded look of an old Super-8 home movie. Pushing the envelope further, Korine rejects classic narrative storytelling in favor of a more poetic succession of scenes. The result is a gritty, surreal collage that powerfully and touchingly evokes the schizophrenic experience as few films have.DVD Features:Region 1Snap CaseWidescreenAudio: Dolby Digital - EnglishAdditional Release Material: Trailers - 1. Taking its title from the stenographer's record in a criminal investigation, Sidney Lumet's brutal look at police corruption peers at the rotten center of crime-fighting institutions and spotlights one man's naive attempt to intervene. Timothy Hutton is young District Attorney Al Reilly, called in on a cut and dry case. In the seemingly simple investigation of the shooting of a Puerto Rican drug lord by supposed model cop Brennan (Nick Nolte), Reilly discovers telling inconsistencies and delves further. Despite the stern advice from Chief of Homicide Quinn to resolve the case and quickly clear Brennan, the older cop's suspicious behavior and conflicting stories spur Reilly to delve further. Reilly's former fiancee, Nancy, complicates matters because she is now involved with the prime witness, Bobby Texador (Armand Assante).
With this emotional baggage, Reilly uncovers a vast web of corruption stretching from Manhattan to Puerto Rico that leads all the way to Quinn. Brennan realizes that Reilly is on to him, and he becomes ruthless, stopping at nothing to prevent the truth from surfacing. The gritty and poisonous world of hardened urban cops surfaces as Lumet illustrates the crusading Reilly's uncompromising honesty against the landscape of racism, lies, and illicit allegiances that lurk below every surface of the city.DVD Features:Region 1 EncodingKeep Case

After renovating their expensive loft in the TriBeCa section of Manhattan, Molly and Sam, a young successful yuppie couple, are walking home one evening when Sam is tragically gunned down by a street mugger. Molly goes into a deep depression, but, unknown to her, Sam has come back as a ghost in order to protect her from danger--although he isn't yet aware who or what means her harm, and he has a lot of learning to do in order to make himself known to her. He teams up with an unwilling psychic, and together they try to convince a very skeptical Molly that Sam was actually murdered and has returned spectrally to complete some unfinished business. Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore are excellent as the couple, and Whoopi Goldberg won an Oscar for her portrayal of the wild and wacky psychic.
