The territorial world of ticket scalpers provides the backdrop for this tale of youth, family, scam, and turf. The turf in question belongs to Joey (Steve Braun), a smooth talking scam artist who is being trampled on by a new crew of fellow scalpers. Gathering a group of good friends in the business of illegal ticket trafficking, Joey is determined to keep his spot outside the major attractions with his most scathing scam yet.All lines of work have their own unwritten laws of ethics. Though this may not seem true, such even goes for illegal ticket trafficking according to this Canadian independent. The SCALPERS of writer/director Adam Rodin's debut feature attend all the concerts and civic events in Winnipeg while trying to keep true to the honor of the trade.
