In TORTILLA SOUP, a film inspired by director Ang Lee's EAT DRINK MAN WOMAN, a Mexican-American master chef living in LA with his three daughters prepares a magnificent dinner each Sunday night to bring his family together. Sunday dinner is a time to make major announcements, to share ideas, and to air the basic frustrations of daily life. It's also a time to critique Dad's cooking because, although he still succeeds in presenting beautiful, mouth-watering dishes, he has lost his sense of taste and his food does not have the same wonderful flavor that it did once. Outside of Sunday dinner, the members of the family live their own lives. Martin, the father (Hector Elizondo), works in a restaurant and entertains the eccentric mother (Raquel Welch) of his close friend and neighbor (Constance Marie). His youngest daughter, Maribel (Tamara Mello) debates whether to go to college and finds a new love interest in Brazilian stud Andy (Nikolai Kinski). The eldest daughter, Carmen (Jacqueline Obradors), is a headstrong, forthright business executive. Stuck in the middle is Letitcia (Elizabeth Pena), a prim school teacher who wants nothing more than to find true love. The romantic drama AnimU KOI KAZE explores sensitive issues with a maturity often found lacking in the form. It centers on the relationship between Koshiro, a depressed and unsuccessful wedding planner, and Nanoka, a regular high school girl. When the two meet, they take an instant liking for each other, but Koshiro's unluckiness continues when he discovers that Nanoka is his long-lost sister, who has come to live with him after the death of their mother. KOI KAZE: VOLUME TWO features five episodes from the AnimU series. In these episodes, Koshiro and Nanoka try to resist their feelings for each other, which leads Koshiro deeper into depression and sends Nanoka on a quest for another, more appropriate love interest.

JAIL BAIT is a grimy drama about criminals sleazing around a crummy little town, by the acknowledged king of bad cinema, Ed Wood. In what was conceived as his homage to the TV series DRAGNET and the film noir of the 1930s and 1940s, Wood developed this vehicle for stars Steve Reeves and Delores Fuller, his wife. The story is about a young criminal who kills a cop and has plastic surgery to alter his face. The film's title, however, is misleading; the only mention of jail bait in the film is made in reference to a gun!
