Jamaica's first digitally shot feature film, THIRD WORLD COP is driven by an outstanding reggae/dancehall score (compliments of Sly& Robbie). When Capone (Paul Campbell), a no nonsense police officer, returns to his old neighborhood in Kingston, Jamaica, he discovers that his best friend from childhood has become an important figure in a dangerous gunrunning racket. It is up to Capone to clean things up before the criminals can take over the community.

In director Robert Schmidt's adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's classic novel CRIME AND PUNISHMENT (the in Suburbia is Schmidt's addition), the role of the protagonist is played not by a troubled young man who kills his landlady, but by a teenage girl (Monica Keena) who murders an older man who has been molesting her. The punishment, rather than a police interrogation and exile to Siberia, is a series of psychological discussions with a common cop who has a romantic interest in her. After World War II, Chief Justice Robert Jackson (Alec Baldwin) travels to the bombed-out city of Nuremberg, Germany to preside over the sentencing of German officers who served under Adolf Hitler during the Holocaust. This program, originally aired on TNT in July 2000, features actual death camp footage, some of which was used in the actual trials.
