Two brothers take opposite journeys in their pursuit of the American dream. Their parents left Ireland for Boston in hopes of creating a better life for themselves, but when Sean and Thomas Phelan witness their father's murder, their two journeys take a decidedly darker turn. Now, as adults, Sean (Daniel Baldwin) and Thomas (John Novack) still seek the vengeance they wanted so desperately as children, but from different sides of the law. Thomas pursues a so-called upstanding career in the US attorney's office, while Sean rises through the ranks to become the head of the Irish mob. A gripping, violent drama unfolds, and the once inseparable brothers find themselves pitted against each other.
