A sleazy lawyer (Michael McKean, THIS IS SPINAL TAP) is able to get his client, who is guilty of murder, acquitted by using corrupt tactics. The murder victim's sister (Annette O'Toole) is sure of the defendant's guilt and exacts revenge by kidnapping the murderer's lawyer and forcing him to confess his dishonorable ways.
