Taiwanese director Aman Ding deftly captures the inherent loneliness of the immigrant experience in his sensitive drama, MIGRATORY BIRD. Young married couple Kwok (Pin-yuan Huang) and Fong (Rene Liu) are Taiwanese immigrants living in Vancouver, Canada. While Kwok`s job frequently takes him away on business trips, Fong is left alone to contend with her bewildering environment until she embarks on an affair with another immigrant who presents new opportunities for love and life.
